What the AI checks on One Piece cards
What matters on One Piece cards: manga art cards, alternate art Leaders and Special Art Rares with unique textures.
-
Centering L/R · T/B
Front and back ratios, including Bandai QC issues. Off-centre past 65/35 caps the card at a 9 before anyone looks at the corners.
-
Corners 8 tips
Sharpness, whitening, dings. One soft tip is usually the whole difference between a 9 and a 10.
-
Edges 8 edges
Edge roughness, chipping, wear. Chipping hides in the border. It is the most common reason a clean card comes back a 9.
-
Surface 2 faces
Manga art scratches, print lines. Print lines and holo scratches are invisible in a phone photo and fatal to gem mint.
Centering on One Piece cards
Measures the exact pixel distance between borders. One Piece cards are known for inconsistent centering from Bandai’s printing, and the AI catches what your eyes miss.
Manga art surface scan
Finds micro-scratches, texture defects and foil print lines on alternate art and manga art cards. Critical for high-value Leaders and Secret Rares.
Edge and corner analysis
Detects corner whitening, edge roughness and factory dings. Bandai’s card stock is prone to edge issues, and the AI checks every edge.

The TCGAI Score is an AI estimate, not an official grade. We are not affiliated with any grading company.
Grade a card freeIs there a One Piece centering tool?
Yes. Every scan measures centering on the front and back from the card borders in pixels and shows the left-right and top-bottom ratios (for example 55/45), along with the centering sub-grade. On full-art cards with no visible border, centering is estimated and marked as such.
How accurate is the AI for One Piece cards?
Our AI checks the same observable criteria professional graders look at. It analyzes centering, corners, edges and surface, which matters given Bandai’s known QC inconsistencies. The TCGAI Score is an AI estimate, not an official grade. Third-party grades may differ. We are not affiliated with any third-party grading company.
Does it detect Bandai centering issues?
Yes. One Piece cards from Bandai are notorious for off-center printing. The AI measures precise border ratios and flags cards that will not meet top-score centering thresholds.
Can it grade Japanese One Piece cards?
Yes. All One Piece TCG languages are supported: Japanese originals, English and other regional variants.
Is it worth grading One Piece cards?
Manga Art and Alt Art Leaders with a top grade can sell for several times their raw value, depending on the card; compare recent sales before you decide. Pre-screen with the AI and only pay grading fees on your best pulls.
