Sophie Cunningham

Market outlook

Stable Outlook 7/10

The card maintains steady demand due to Cunningham's rising status in the WNBA and the collectibility of her official rookie card. However, the base version is common, limiting significant price growth[1][2][3].

Next months. Next 3-6 months: Stable prices with possible minor increases if Cunningham achieves notable milestones or new high-value parallels are released

Long term. 1-3 year prediction: Moderate growth potential if Cunningham becomes a WNBA star; base rookie may remain a stable collector staple while parallels increase in value

• It is a base card from a widely produced set, but the official rookie designation adds collector interest[1][2]
• Multiple parallel versions (Green, Rainbow, Ice) increase overall scarcity for specific variants[3][5]
• Cunningham's presence in over 13 sets reduces uniqueness of any single card, but the 2021 Prizm base rookie remains a key entry point[4]

Collector notes

Condition. Key things to check include centering, corner wear, edge whiteness, and surface scratches. Common flaws in Prizm cards include micro-scratches on the Prizm finish, especially on the rainbow or colored parallel versions[1][2].

Storage. Best practices include storing in a rigid top loader, using a penny sleeve first, and keeping in a climate-controlled environment away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, consider a magnetic case or airtight container[1][2].

Authenticity. To spot fakes, verify the holographic Prizm finish, check for proper font alignment and color accuracy, and confirm the card number and set name match official listings. Authentic Prizm cards have a unique textured surface that is difficult to replicate[1][2].
